PIMC acceses resources from (1) AZHIN (Arizona Health Information Network), (2) HSR Library (Health Services Research Library, a part of the National Institutes of Health Library) and (3) resources we purchase. Follow the instructions below for accessing any of these resources on and off campus.
On Campus Access
Start at the PIMC Medical Library website. This site is designed to let publishers know you are eligible to use the resources without payment. Many resources are set up so that you simply click on the title and go to the full text. However, you need to log on to use HSRL resources whether on or off campus. This is NEW as of March 2010
HSRL Resources NEW
- Go to the NIH Library website - nihlibrary.nih.gov
- You should see " Welcome HSRL Clients to the NIH Library" . If you do not, click on the "HSRL Users Click Here" link in the upper right corner.
- Click on HHS Login on the lower right section of the web page.
- Contact the library if you need the username and password.
- You may also go directly to the HSRL sign on page.
Off Site Access
- Start at the PIMC Medical Library website.
- HSRL - Log in to the HSRL Resources as stated above.
- AZHIN - Off-site access for AZHIN is maintained by Athens, an Access Management Systems. Register for AZHIN off-site access or contact the library. When you have your username and password sign in at the log in screen on the lower left section of the web page.
- PIMC - Contact the library for login information for PIMC resources. When you have the username and password click on the title link/
